General performance of the device:

X-rays are generated by the generator placed in the lower part of the C-Frame of the X-ray thickness gauge and radiated to the sheet under measurement. Some rays are absorbed or scattered by the sheet and some pass through it. The rays passing through the sheet are received by a detector installed in the upper part of the C-Frame and converted into electrical signals corresponding to the thickness of the sheet. Finally, by amplifying and processing these signals by the computer, the thickness of the sheet is determined.

Application of x-ray thickness gauge:

Measuring the thickness of steel sheets with minimal error is one of the most important applications of this device. When the power supply is turned off, the X-ray energy output immediately stops or shuts down. The X-ray source is placed in a fully insulated casing to ensure safety. The system features fast and precise calibration with the ability to repeat operations. All digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs, and DC power supplies can be monitored simultaneously on a single monitor screen. This feature is also very efficient for diagnostic tools.
